The first annual fishing derby was held at Otter Creek State Park. Otter Creek RV and Marina were our sponsors. It was a huge success and we plan on having another derby next year.
This year's Butch Cassidy Days / Piute County Fair held in Junction, Utah July 28 through August 2, was themed "Gettin' Down in a Hick Town", where folks can just be their good old country selves. An online vote for the biggest hick took place prior to the fair, with our own Wyatt Barnson named the official "Hick" of the fair. He was awarded a gift certificate from Burns Saddlery in Salina and served as the grand marshall for the parade.
