The second annual 5K was a huge success. Proceeds went to the Piute High School Track and Field with $500 given to the Brayden Blackwell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
This year's Butch Cassidy Days / Piute County Fair held in Junction, Utah July 28 through August 2, was themed "Gettin' Down in a Hick Town", where folks can just be their good old country selves. An online vote for the biggest hick took place prior to the fair, with our own Wyatt Barnson named the official "Hick" of the fair. He was awarded a gift certificate from Burns Saddlery in Salina and served as the grand marshall for the parade.
